Hillside dining in an elegant setting. Sto Psito is great for dining on Greek and Kefalonian cuisine, or for a relaxed after-dinner drink. A wonderful place to watch the sun set over the Ionian Sea.
IL BORGO
Set atop the mountains, next to St. George’s Castle, Il Borgo offers delicious Greek cuisine as well as wine and beer alongside a creative cocktail menu. This local Greek Taverna is in the Argostoli area, yet far enough away from the busy centre to not be teeming with tourists. Great food with a fantastic view out to sea. Head towards the Lighthouse of Saint Theodoroi, and you’ll come across the taverna on your left. Don’t forget to order the Greek salad.
CASA GREC
Serving Italian and Greek cuisine, Casa Greg is slightly more pricey than other restaurants in the area and booking in advance is recommended. A great place for a romantic dinner for two.
KAMAROULES STAMATELATOS
This restaurant in Lassi, Kefalonia, is one you’re not likely to find unless you go looking for it. Head here to avoid the tourist traps along Lassi’s main road. Kamaroules Stamatelatos is a Greek taverna, but with a difference. Tables are located in a sizeable taverna garden and the layout means you can snag a table right against the sea-side cliff edge, looking out to sea, barely noticing other diners. Visit at sunset.
